Here’s What 6 Relationship Experts Can Teach Us About Love

-

Love is one of the greatest virtues of all. But when it comes to relationship advice, virtues conglomerate with sins. As often uttered, ‘ everything is fair in love and war’. Is love any less than a sin and the relationship any less than a war? However, apart from the warriors participating, there exists another group of people.

This group of people is often known as ‘the relationship experts’ or if adding drama to the term, ‘the love gurus.’ Keep reading to find out more.

Relationship Experts And Their Sayings!

The relationship experts usually come in a variety.

The Connoisseur:

These are the ones who have been in a relationship for a considerable amount of time. They will not provide you with a set of pros and cons if you are looking for one. What they will tell you is about comfort and perseverance. They will put up a domesticated picture of love. They educate you about the post-honeymoon setting and how to survive the test of time.

“The beauty of a relationship is not always seen from the very beginning-

But rather as love grows and develops over time.”

They represent comfortable love which is both consistent and durable. They will teach you about the uncomfortable conversations that are the by-products of an argument. It is these uncomfortable conversations that sustain the relationship.

The Honeymoon Tribe:

These are the ones who will never tell you about the tricky part, unlike the former. They will tell you that the honeymoon phase should last forever. Anything apart from that strike is a problem. They are experts in giving you all the lovey-dovey tips that you will ever require.

They are the ones who will educate you about the efforts and engagement. To them, relationships should be nothing less than a fairy tale. Anything past that is beyond their forte.

“Can’t  keep my hands to myself

No matter how hard I’m trying to

I want you all to myself

Your metaphorical gin and juice”.

The Melancholics:

As depressing as it may sound, these people can sometimes come up with expert advice too. They are the ones who have dealt with or faced heartbreaks. They are the best ones to turn to when recovering from a broken heart. For there is no fever that paracetamol cannot fix. They will educate you about the ugly side of love. You can always rely on their shoulders to weep a few drops.

“For my part, I prefer my heart to be broken.

It is so lovely, dawn-kaleidoscopic within the crack”.

The ‘Love Is A Game’ Tribe:

“I demolish my bridges behind me…

Then there is no choice but

To move forward.”

They are the ones who come right after the melancholic tribe. They are in a position where they are no longer melancholic buffoons. When to end a relationship or exactly what one should look forward to in life is exactly what they will suggest to you. Any element of love and romance is pointless to them and will supremely annoy them.

“If you are brave enough to say goodbye,

Life will reward you with a new hello.”

We do understand how difficult it can get at times to forget one’s past. This is exactly when this strong-willed expert-friend will pounce into action. No matter how much we hate them, but in the end, we will be forever indebted to them for burning up that last chocolate wrapper that you had saved from your lover.

The ‘flings Are What I Do’ Tribe:

They come in the genus with melancholics, and the love is a game tribe. They are your best friends when it comes to exploring the other side of a relationship, that is, the world of flings.

The only way to escape heartbreak is not engaging in a relationship at all, it is what they live by. They are not necessarily anti-love but will not want to engage in one either.

“ I really like our friendship, especially when we make out.”

Demisexuals may scroll ahead, not your cup of mocha. But hey! You can always work on your flirting skills.

The Battle Of Long Distance:

Yet again, they will be the ones in sync with the connoisseurs. For they are also experienced in handling the test of time, more than anyone else in the aforementioned list of experts. They will teach you perseverance and effort and how the little things that matter.

They favor constant engagement and love sharing everything with their partners. If asked for advice, they will suggest the same to you.

“Every night in my dreams

I see you, I feel you

That is how I know you, go on..”

They are certainly not the ones to scoff at you for craving your beloved in the middle of nowhere. You are guaranteed to receive that gentle pat on your back saying, ‘ tell me about it, bro.’

That One Single Friend:

We all have that one single friend who has never been in a relationship whatsoever but gives the best relationship advice. They are born problem solvers. Ideally, they are the ones that should be given the title of connoisseurs.

Had a fight? They have a solution. Bae not giving enough attention? Turn to them. Want to break free? Also, turn to them. How to approach your crush? Obviously, them. They are the ultimate love gurus in the house. So instead of typing ‘would you rather questions for your crush’, why don’t you just communicate with your partner for a change?

Conclusion:

However, a defined categorization always comes in handy when exploring such arenas, but I am certain that you could add more to this list. Based on the given list of experts, one would have a brief idea of who to ask what.

If you are that feeble one-sided lover wondering what questions to ask your crush before you dive into the ocean of love. I would personally suggest you to turn to either the connoisseurs or the love gurus. The fling buddies can look after which flirting technique to employ. That is what the expert has to say!
